About ROQUE
The name takes its inspiration from a much respected man named Roque (b. 1930 d. 2005).  He represented the ultimate in coachee behaviour – humility, respect, trust, openness, integrity and commitment to learn.  Roque was never afraid to ask questions when he did not understand.  He was always eager to respond to questions relating to his particular enquiries, goals and aspirations.

Roque the man was born a Roman Catholic, when it was traditional to be baptised with a Saint’s name whose Catholic calendar feast day was on or near the birth time of a new born.  The man Roque was so named after a Saint Roque (b. 1576 d.1628).  During life St Roque was a Jesuit priest and was beautified as a martyr.

The ROQUE model is an on-line or in-person SELF SCORING STATUS Inventory

  •        It is used in personal development exercises or programs
  •      It assists with guided self reflection for starting a conversation
  •      It can be a stand-alone instrument or used to compliment other psychometric tools
  •      It may provide accessible objective data to commence a coaching program
  •      It can support a new or pre-existing coaching program
  •     ROQUE may help in team building, general relationships and family unity and understanding
For a comprehensive coaching program, we recommend that the ROQUE model be used in conjunction with a Personality Profile and /or Emotional Intelligence instrument.

The ROQUE model is functionally a conversation starter in the coaching context and is equally valid in general life conversations.  This is why it is potent to a user who would otherwise only achieve this through a much more expensive comparable process.

The ROQUE Coaching Methodology is a companion coaching discipline for use with the output of the ROQUE Model.

Welcome to
ROQUE

Have you ever wondered where you are in your life?

Or even where you are headed?

Have you ever asked yourself:  Is this where I wanted to be and what I really want to become?

If time or enthusiasm is scarce for you at the moment, would a smart, efficient and proven process – one that gives you an instant status snapshot of your life’s journey – help?

ROQUE-on-line is a self-reflection tool that offers an initial step in a potentially significant life enhancing journey – if you choose to use it.

R
OQUE
helps you reflect on and clarify your Vision: “from where you are to where you want to be”.

You are not alone!

Napoleon Hill said in 1966:

“. . . Examine the first hundred people you meet, ask them what they most want in life and ninety eight of them will not be able to tell you.  If you press them for an answer, some will say security, some will say money; a few will say happiness; others will say fame and power; and still others will say social recognition, ease in living, ability to sing, dance or write; but none will be able to define these terms or give the slightest indication of a plan by which they hope to attain these vaguely expressed wishes.  Riches do not respond to wishes.  They respond only to definite plans, backed by definite desires, through constant persistence.”

When the Pupil is ready, the Teacher will be found . . .
The trigger may be an experience or event, a book or film, a moving story or a flash of inspiration.  When that moment comes, we become motivated and focused to do something.  Emotionally charged from the heart of our being, we integrate rationale and logic and we subconsciously just perform. It is not the attraction of the outcome, rather in the zone of being, in the present moment, that we become lost to a quest.  And the choice is always ours!

Here, alive in our own unique quest, we become at one with our highest aspirations, transcending the material yet striving to fulfill through what we manifest. We become in-tune with the infinite and what is abundant.

Sometimes a friend, a mentor, a coach or a trusted adviser offers that gateway to help us move forward.  However, in order to achieve this, we need to reach inside ourselves – to declare passionate intent – to welcome any Mirror of Reflection which can show us what we do not always see . . . yet usually can, if we will but only look!  A good example might be the sculptor who disowns the inspiration that led to the beautiful sculpture: "It wasn't me", he said: "All I did was to help remove the interferences and reveal the clarity of a masterpiece trapped within!"

ROQUE enables and releases the essential coachee that is present in each one of us.
We discuss, we enquire, we look for different ways . . . and we value the Mirror of Reflection which offers us excitement, meaning, clarity and enthusiasm to do things.

Roque the man placed himself always as the ultimate coachee.  He discussed, he enquired, he looked for different ways.  He persevered and he valued the Mirror of Reflection for the excitement, meaning, clarity and enthusiasm to do things.  Roque trusted, believed and always took the actions to try and try until he got it!
